Jeep Drives Through Interstate Protest in Aurora Colorado, Shots Fired Hitting Two Protesters
Protesters in Aurora, Colorado marched down I-225 demanding justice for Elijah McClain. Aurora police had been blocking traffic onto the interstate, however after approx 30 minuets into the march on I-225 Aurora police released traffic onto the interstate. This resulted in a turquoise jeep driving into the back line of protesters. As the jeep drove through the crowd of protesters on the interstate, shots rang out. It is still unknown who all fired but it is currently believed that a protester fired shots at the tires of the jeep as it passed through the rear of the march, blowing out one of the tires, and striking one protester in the leg from ricochet. Another protester was grazed on the side of the head near the front of the march, eye witnesses report that these shots came from the jeep. Both are in stable condition. We will update as more details emerge.

Today Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jane Barwick granted bond to former officer Garrett Rolfe in the murder of Atlanta father Rayshard Brooks. Judge Barwick set bond at $500,000, with the conditions that Rolfe be placed upon an ankle monitor with a 6am-6pm curfew, Rolfe must surrender both his passport as well as all weapons, Rolfe is not to in anyway tamper with evidence, or have contact with any other Atlanta police officer. Rolfe's file shows 12 other incidents, one in which he discharged his weapon in 2015 which had no conclusion listed in his file. Rolfe faces the death penalty if convicted of the charges he faces.
