Following a failed coup in Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has taken the opportunity to seize more power and dig the heels of fascism further into the Turkish state. Nearly 3000 soldiers who supposedly participated in the coup were arrested and may face the death penalty under charges of treason. Admiral Bülent Bostanoğlu, head of the Turkish Navy, and General Abidin Ünal, commander of the Turkish Air Force, were among those caught in the attempted coup and arrested for participation. The common theme among the rebels seems to be their support of a secular government, which is in sharp contrast to the Islamic Nationalist AKP.

The Aftermath

The aftermath of the failed revolt has worked in favor of the Erdoğan Regime in almost every way, leaving thousands of his political enemies out of power or imprisoned. The toll so far includes over 3,000 members of the Turkish Military and some 2,700 members of the Turkish Judiciary who's views may oppose the AKP. The worst aspect of these arrests is that, being done amongst the chaos and aftermath of the failed insurrection, there is no way to confirm if those charged actually participated in the coup or if they even knew they were participating in a coup. Many soldiers have come forward saying they believed it to be a military action for the Turkish state and only realized the truth once civilians answered Erdoğan's call to take to the streets. In the video below a Turkish soldier testifies that he was told he was participating in a military exercise.

In a video that was recorded, the soldier who is speaking is seen saying, "I have no idea about anything": "What happened, bro, tell me about it"

This leaves the door wide open for mass unchecked elimination of dissent, with virtually no way to prove the guilt, or innocence, of the parties in question, Erdoğan already appears to be taking full advantage of the situation to eliminate opposition. In an atmosphere of rabid nationalism, it is unlikely that anyone would question the state's word on these matters for fear of being labeled "unpatriotic", similar to the United States immediately following 9-11. When an event such as this one stirs up national pride, it can be quite a while before the blood lust begins to die down among the population, and people begin to think rationally once again.

Blinding Nationalism And The Gulen Conspiracy

In what can be seen as proof of Nationalism's brain damaging qualities, the above video shows a crowd worked into a fervor by the Turkish President demanding the arrest and deportation of Fethullah Gulen, a political opponent of the Turkish state who has sought asylum in the U.S. This comes in conjunction with conspiracy theories that he was behind the attempted coup, with many Turks calling him the "mastermind" of the attacks and accusing the US of planning the revolt. We at Anon Resistance went to his website to verify his statement about the attacks only to find it is currently the target of a DDoS attack.

RT and Gulen Website FethullahGulen.com Both Hit With DDoS

After reading a snippet of Gulen's statement condemning the coup, I attempted to find the statement itself on Gulen's personal blog, but was surprised to find it was currently offline due to a DDoS attack. Similarly RT was hit with a massive DDoS during the time of the coup itself.

The Irony Of Why The Coup Failed

It appears that social media and massive public protest are what stopped the coup from being successful and prevented Erdoğan from losing power. For the last year or more the Turkish state has become more and more openly fascist with it's censoring of independent media and violent crackdown of protests, other than the ultra right wing nationalist variety. Earlier this year the Turkish gov. staged a midnight raid on newspaper well known for voicing their opposition to Erdoğan and the AKP.

Erdogan took to Twitter and FaceTime as a coup attempt in Turkey was thwarted by government supporters using social media. The Turkish president has been saved by the social media he tried to block and the street protests he banned.

Possible False Flag Operation Conducted By The Turkish State

Critical thinkers on social media and elsewhere have already begun to claim the coup was faked by Erdoğan to grab more power. Erdoğan reportedly calling it “a gift from Allah” has not done much to quell these theories either. For those of you not familiar with how false flag attacks work I will give you a brief run down. The information contained in this article should be enough for you to come to your own conclusions about the authenticity of the coup. The term "False Flag" itself refers to a type of military operation where the flag of another group or country is flown during an attack, leading the the public to believe it was indeed that group who carried out the attack, thereby providing the public outrage needed for an invasion of that country or military action against said group. Often times governments ruthlessly sacrifice their own citizens so they can benefit from the public's safety concerns and move further towards despotism and remove more of the public's freedoms. The best known example of a false flag attack (besides the Reichstag Fire) is September 11th, where Israel, with help from Saudi Arabia and the Central Intelligence Agency, demolished 3 buildings in downtown New York City and managed to convince the public it was Islamic terrorists.

Hegelian Dialectic

noun

1. an interpretive method, originally used to relate specific entities or events to the absolute idea, in which some assertible proposition (thesis) is necessarily opposed by an equally assertible and apparently contradictory proposition (antithesis) the mutual contradiction being reconciled on a higher level of truth by a third proposition (synthesis)

  • Problem (thesis) - Coup Attempt
  • Reaction (antithesis) - Martial Law
  • Solution (synthesis) - More Executive Power For Erdoğan

There was a video that explained Hegelian Dialectic and False Flags really well but upon transferring this article to our new template it was no longer available.

Kurdistan Communities Union Releases Statement on Coup

A statement released by a group representing the greater Kuridish population has released a statement condemning the attack as one undemocratic against another, and reminding people of the coup that was staged last June 7th, in which Erdoğan's fascist government allied with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) to suppress democracy and the Kurdish Freedom Movement. After gaining a majority through this alliance he ordered military forces into Kurdish regions where they burned cities and massacred civilians. The statement begins...

“There has been a coup attempt by persons whose identity and purpose is yet not clear. This attempt comes just before the military council meeting, where Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was reportedly going to assign generals close to himself to the army's top tier. Another striking dimension of the coup attempt is that it comes at a time when discussions about the fascist AKP government's foreign policy, were taking place.”

They emphasize the important of not legitimizing the Fascism of the AKP by calling it democracy. The Kurds are all too familiar with the lack of Turkish democracy and have been at war with the Turkish State since the 1980s, when they were forced to fight a brutal civil war. The statement warns "Portraying Erdoğan as democratic is dangerous..."

"Portraying Erdoğan and the fascist AKP dictatorship as if they were democratic after this coup attempt is an approach even more dangerous than the coup attempt itself. Portraying the fight for power among authoritarian, despotic and anti-democratic forces as a fight between the supporters and enemies of democracy will only serve to legitimize the existing fascist and despotic government."
